Thanksgiving

My parents flew in Tuesday night and we met Tara, Chad, and Dantley for lunch on Wednesday after some dental appointments.  The kids had fun playing outside and going to the park even though it was cooler than normal.

Chase wanted to fry a turkey this year but he was worried it wouldn't work out so he didn't want that to be the only turkey.

 Both turkeys were delicious!

We had all the usuals: potatoes, gravy, rolls, corn, sweet potato casserole, stuffing and of course lots of pie!

Mason recently lost his two front teeth a day apart and wanted to surprise Grandma and Grandpa so I didn't tell them before they saw him.  I know what he wants for Christmas!

There was more playing outside, the boys went golfing and put up our Christmas lights, the girls went shopping, and we played games.

On my birthday we went to dinner at Cafe Rio and went to the lights at the Mesa Temple.  It was pretty cold this year and the hot chocolate being sold nearby sounded pretty good!

We had such a fun time and we're so glad when we have visitors for Thanksgiving!

Tara and Chad drove back early this morning and my mom and dad flew home after church with Dantley.  Tara and Chad had some traffic/road problems so it ended up taking them three hours longer.  Luckily Dantley got to go the quick way.
