At Christmas Darrin was talking about coming down to have Chase do some dental work on him. It was a pleasant surprise when Alicia said the whole family would be coming! They drove down on Thursday and got here just in time to meet for dinner at Darrin's favorite place, Peter Piper Pizza. They don't have one in Utah anymore and my kids were more than happy to go there.
Carsten and Avery kept hitting the jack pot on some games and bought the kids some prizes. The girls were excited about their crowns! Too bad Teagan peed her pants and got it on Avery's jacket when she carried her to me. I guess she was having too much fun!
Friday, Darrin got his work done then we met at Top Golf.
The girls were crazy dancing and putting ice down Darrin's back. He definitely had some little friends. Brinley always wanted to ride with him and hold his hand! Too bad Mason had school.
We went to the mall for some shopping and dinner. Notice Brinley's crown!
Mason and Avery jumped on the trampoline and then Brinley wanted a turn. She started crying for some reason, she's done it before. So Teagan took her turn and loved it.
Saturday the boys went golfing while the girls went shopping and we met up at Peter Piper, again!
Chase surprised Carsten and got the boys tickets to the Cardinals play off game. Carsten has always wanted to go to an NFL game and luckily it worked out!
One day while we were watching tv we saw a commercial for Disney On Ice and Alicia suggested we take the girls since the boys were going to the game. I had talked to Chase about going but the times didn't work with his schedule so it was perfect!
Alicia spoiled the girls with an Elsa and Anna doll.
Avery was a good sport!
Teagan liked the popcorn and cotton candy!
It was a really cute show and the girls loved it. Since it was Frozen I didn't think we would see any other princesses. When Snow White and Ariel came out Brinley was so excited and said, "see mom, I told you they would be here!"
Sunday we hung out after church and played games. I love that the Hillers love games like I do! After dinner I had planned to make s'mores in the fire pit. Chase didn't have much wood and we decided to not get all stinky so we made them over the stove! They were still good even if Mason was mad!
The Hillers left early this morning and we were sad to see them go. They are all so helpful with the kids and so fun too! Come back soon!
