For the first two weeks in June, Mason took swim lessons from a sweet lady in our ward. She lives really close to us so we piled in the stroller and walked over at 8:30 every morning.
Mason has been a little afraid of the water and never wanted to get in above his knees or get any water on his face. The lessons I put him in were to just get used to the water so I figured it would be perfect for him. He had some great days and a few bad ones where he got out of the pool and cried and the next day wouldn't get off the edge of the pool so his face wouldn't get wet. But then all the sudden he got it and he went crazy swimming! It was so fun to see his growth and how much fun he was having!
For the next two week session, Sister Webb asked me if Brinley would like join and I was thrilled. She originally said it was for ages 3 and up. Brinley went through the motions for the most part but some days she just played with some watering cans when it wasn't her turn. They loved swimming together though!
This is what Teagan liked to do during lessons and Brinley wasn't cooperating this day and was very mad I was taking her picture!
Our next door neighbors went out of town for 10 days and they offered their pool to us so we took advantage of that several times and had a blast! Mason was a swimming fool and even jumped off the edge into the pool and swam with his face in the water! Teagan loved her tube and was a happy girl. Brinley was more brave and would swim around too. It was so fun except for the time that I took off Brinley's arm bands and put a towel on her and she decided to get back in the water when Chase wasn't looking either and stepped off the step. We about had a heart attack when we saw her under the water!
Boxer liked the tube too!
Teagan was attached to this ball and usually had a few other toys around her.
This makes me laugh with her mismatched arm floaters since she popped two of them by bitting them! Crazy girl!
I guess we need a pool!
