We had a great Thanksgiving this year! We went to our friends Shayne and Sherri's house with two other couples. Everyone got together at 10 that morning and the girls made the food while the boys watched football and of course studied. We had a lot of delicious food (even a scrumptious sherbet drink) and it was a day full of firsts. It was the first time many of us had anything to do with a turkey, first time Molly made a pie (yummy), and the first Thanksgiving without family. We played some fun games while the turkey cooked and had a great time together.

Mike & Candice (taking the picture), me & Chase, Sherri & Shayne, Molly & JamesChase and I contributed to the meal by making candy turkeys. They were fun to make and they became the decorations for the table.
They even put candles in a pumpkin pie in the shape of an R and sang to me!

Wow! Raquel you are pretty dang crafty. Those are so cute! So when are you guys coming home for christmas? We should all go to dinner one night, Nik and I were saying we should still draw names! let us know what ya think. Oh and did you get a puppy?
