Tara and Chad Visit!

We were absolutely thrilled when Tara said they wanted to come visit for spring break! We had so much fun visiting with them, making and eating treats and playing games! They didn't get to sleep in with noisy Mason around but hopefully they weren't too bored so they will come back again soon!

The first day they got here, we heard about the Ostrich Festival and decided to go check it out. It was pretty much just as awesome as all the other festivals I've been to! =]

There was an ostrich race with people riding them but we didn't know we needed to get a seat 2 hours early so we couldn't see anything. We were hoping we could get Chase on one but no such luck!

And Tara wouldn't try an ostrich burger either!

There were dog jumping contests going on and we watched for a little bit. It is a very slow moving activity! Mason liked watching them splash in the water.

Mason started getting sick the day before they came and he wasn't getting better after a few days.

This was while we were waiting to go to the doctor. Chad was so nice and pushed him in the swing while he had a little nap. I didn't think it was possible to fall asleep like that. Poor boy, he had a bad ear infection!

The next day Mason was feeling much better so we headed to the zoo. It was pretty toasty and the adults got a little sunburned but we had a good time!

While we were in the farm area Mason kept asking for chocolate milk. We don't know how he knew there was some there!

Thanks for coming guys and thanks for being so good to Mason and Brinley! They adore you! We are going to keep trying to talk you into moving here!
