4th of July/Visit From Grandparents

It was so fun having my parents here for the 4th!  We had to get all dressed up for the occasion, thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

This was the coolest 4th of July in 100 years.  It was only about 80 degrees and it rained pretty hard too so we went to the mall to do some shopping and to do Mason's favorite thing, EAT!

Mason was spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa for being so brave about his arm.  He had so much fun playing with the carwash.  It was the first thing he wanted to do in the morning and the last thing he did before bed!  He kept telling Grandma and Grandpa, "let's go play!"

Later on we had some fun with pop-its.  Mason liked throwing hand-fuls and did great even with his left hand.

They are also fun to stomp on!

Then we went for some frozen yogurt because the salted caramel flavor is SO good!

After Brinley was in bed we went outside for some fireworks.  Chase bought a TON so we'll have more for some other holidays!

Mason wasn't too sure about the fireworks at first.  Right when he started liking them, especially the whistling ones, some big ones started close by.  He didn't like those and he was worried about the "boom boom boom" when he was going to bed.

What a fun day!

The next day we took Mason to Chuckecheese.  He had a lot of fun running around playing games and riding the rides.

Mason has some sweet moves!

The rest of the time my parents were here was spent hanging out, going to dinner, playing and going to appointments.  My parents had dental appointments and Mason got his cast.  We had so much fun with them we didn't want it to end so the kids and I flew back with them!

What a brave boy! I can't believe things worked out so perfectly - we all know how you get quesy (how do you spell that?) so I am glad it wasn't a compound fracture either! Hope he is better soon!
