Since St. George is about half way to Salt Lake, it was a great place to meet my family for Labor Day. It took us about 7 hours with stops and the kids did great! This was the first time in a long time that we all went on vacation together. We stayed at Aunt Rhonda's GORGEOUS, HUGE home and it worked out perfectly. Everyone had their own room and bathroom and even Mason slept on a trundle bed in his own room and he loved it. We had so much fun golfing (EVERYONE but me golfs), celebrating Chad's birthday, playing games, swimming and eating treats. As a kid it was tradition to go to St. George for Labor Day so now maybe it will be again!
Mason and Brinley loved this horse and all of Rhonda's fun toys...
playing a little music...
and playing at the park!
Allison was so nice to let Mason do her hair for 20 minutes! I have video of him just blabbering away combing, brushing and spraying. He was sad to say goodbye to her because he wasn't done with her hair!
My parents were so nice and got us tickets at Tuacahn to see Hairspray and they stayed with the kids! It was so fun!
On the way home I broke the law and got Brinley a car seat so she could face forward. I thought she might do better being able to see and it made it so much easier to keep her entertained. She was busy for a long time eating treats out of the upholder! They both did good on the way home. Can't wait until next time!
