Mason got to celebrate this birthday at preschool yesterday and his fun teacher gave him a balloon and hat!
We made blue cupcakes for him to take to school.
Mason got to open his presents early this morning before Chase went to work and he was making us laugh with how excited he was for everything!
He got some clothes, shoes, Legos, Mouse Trap game, coloring stuff, a train set and a mechanic set of toys to take apart and put back together. He was spoiled!
After presents it was time for breakfast and Brinley said her ear hurt and was laying around and wouldn't eat. She had a fever and was sleeping on and off so we took her to the doctor and she in fact had her first ear infection. Mason was happy to be there when it wasn't for him.
Looking handsome in his new clothes from Tara. Even the nurse told him he looked handsome.
The train set is pretty cool and it's super tall!
After getting a prescription for Brinley we went home for lunch and Mason asked for macaroni and cheese. So boring! And they had fun playing with all the new toys. He also got a visit from Jessie and she gave him new pajamas and a huge art kit. She is so sweet and we are going to miss her so much.
A few days ago I asked Mason where he wanted to go for his birthday dinner and he picked Red Robin. Last night after I tucked him in bed he called me back in and said he knew where we really wanted to eat...Peter Piper Pizza and he wanted to take his cake and eat it there too. We went there last week and there were a lot of parties going on and it must have looked pretty fun! They all enjoyed the games before the pizza.
Teagan could stay on this ride all day and she pretty much did!
Teagan got this ball and carried it around everywhere and rode her favorite ride with it too.
When the tokens were gone and the tickets were redeemed it was time for cake. As we were about to cut it Mason asked for the candles. I left them at home so he wanted to go home for cake and candles.
Mason said he doesn't like to watch Mickey much anymore but he liked the cake because of the car and the road.
Wearing his new pajamas and building a super track with daddy. It was a fun day celebrating this special little boy! He's constantly amazing me with the things/phrases he's learning and using. When Brinley and Teagan are napping he always asks me to go outside and swing with him so we can "talk about things". I love that time together and that he wants to hang out with me! We love you to the moon, buddy!
