Chase got tickets for a spring training game from the company that he buys his office supplies from. First we had lunch in their office parking lot and had hot dogs and hamburgers and chips. The kids loved the picnic but they were so excited to ride a bus to the game they didn't care about getting their face painted or a balloon.
Brinley dipped her chips in the ketchup from her hot dog!
The Cubs played and the Angels and we had tickets for the grass so the kids could run around and we were there early enough to get front row right by the fence.
Someday I hope they'll learn how to smile and hold still for a picture!
She would not stay away from the fence. She kept standing up to it and would laugh at the people next to us.
It was a beautiful day but warmer than I was expecting. The kids kept complaining that they were hot so Chase got them a snow cone which Brinley spilled all over her clothes. It went through them and stained her belly and legs even! After 3 innings we decided to leave since everyone was tired and grumpy. They all fell asleep in the car and woke up when we took them in the house but they all went back to sleep in their beds. Lucky for mom and dad!
