St. George

After work on Thursday we headed to St. George for Chase to race the Half Iron Man with Chad.  He had been training a lot and working really hard but the week before we both caught a cold from Mason and unfortunately he didn't recover in time.  He decided it was better to not put his body through that and risk getting something worse.  He was understandably pretty disappointed but he's going to do another one in a few months.  

We had a fun weekend hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa Davis, Alicia and Darrin, and Chad and Melissa.  We rented a house that had a fun backyard.  I had a lot of fun playing games with Alicia and Darrin and laughed way too hard and one night the girls went to a movie and we tried out Swig for the first time.  Pretty yummy!

 Mason wasn't sure about the splash pad at first so Darrin had to show him that he wouldn't get wet under the tree.

 The first day Teagan wanted to get in so bad we didn't even make her wait to get her swimming suit on!

 Darrin was so nice to play with the kids since Chase didn't bring his suit for some weird reason!  Good thing we did!

 The pool was awesome for the kids with a big shallow ledge.

Darrin talked Mason and Brinley into going down the slide with him and then they got a little more brave and would go about half way down by themselves.  They loved it!  Alicia and the Grandparents were so nice to let the kids and I hitch a ride back to Salt Lake with them.  Poor Chase had to drive back home alone to work.
